I'd have to agree with tommyboy. The 2 ft depth and height definitely isn't enough. I recently purchased a 96x24x24 and I'm already in the stages of planning one that's larger. Biggest waste of money I've made in a long time. I'll more then likely bite the bullet and end up getting the 96x48x48...
I'm very sorry for the loss. This decision is such a hard one to make. Bacardi was an amazing animal and he was very lucky to have an owner as awesome as you. He maybe gone in a physical way, but you'll have tons of memories to keep you running.
Sorry again.
Very awesome pics of an awesome little tegu! It seems like just yesterday when Brahm was this size. It's truly amazing how fast these guys grow in just a year! Congrats on the newest addition!
I've gotta 2011 Extreme as well (Birthday was between 6/25 - 6/27) and he's sitting about 42" right now. I have yet to actually weigh him, but Brahm is pretty decent sized. Sounds like they all grow at different rates based on what I've heard / read. Did your '11 hibernate last year? Brahm has...

Very cool! I remember getting my email letting me know that Brahm had hatched this time last year! Such an exciting time! Cherish this time with the hatchling hahaha, these babies grow FAST!!! :-D
I'm another one that can testify to Bobby's awesome stock. I received a great 2011 Extreme Giant this time last year and the transaction couldn't have gone any better. Bobby answered all my emails (most of them were kept short on my behalf as I know he's a busy guy) and gave me a call a few days...
Thank you guys/gals very much for the replies! I thought I was on the right track, but just wanted to shoot it out to my tegu family to see what your ideas were. Thanks again folks! I've got to get some updated Brahm pictures up. The beastie is getting big. :-)
How goes it guys. So Brahm has taken to frozen rodents and chicks pretty well after all. And I'm thinking about making the whole prey items the main part of his diet and supplementing it with the raw turkey and the like once in a while.
My question though, is regarding the supplementing of...
