Damaged head scale??

So we just got a juvenile tegu last week and while he/she/it is fantastic. We have handled her everyday and she has been super chill. At first we had her in cedar which we found out was bad for her so I switched to 100% cypress a couple days ago. Well today when I got her out she appears to have a damaged head scale. And maybe a brownish orangeish tip of her nose. Is this an issue or the starting of the next shed? Is there something I should do different?

Hmmmm possible shedding or injury trying to remove shed by rubbing. Keep and eye on it, and make sure your humidity is at least 60% minimum.
