Missing some toes??

newcomer here... so first "hello"!
So I have been on the fence as wheather to get a N. Blue Tounge Skink or a Blk/wht tegu or red tegu?... and yesterday there was an adult red tegu at our local reptile shop ... she was missing many if not all of her toes.... obviously the previous owners didn't provide her proper humidity for her shed... sad. She seemed sweet... didn't nip or his or anything.. so question... how do the missing toes effect this gal in the long term? Should she even be an option???

If she's otherwise healthy and friendly and not old, I'd snap her up.

Yeah, that's the thing... not sure of her health .. they claim healthy.... and for a 350 price tag... not too sure???
