Hi! Have been lurking for a bit, waiting for my new friend to arrive. USPS majorly screwed up, so the tegu had to sit in transit for two days.

Needless to say, she was not happy when I unboxed her.

At least, I think it's a she...she's kinda jowly but nothing like I've seen on males. What do y'all think? I want to be sure before I name her.

Btw, that's not her enclosure, she just happened to scoot under some shelves before I put her in her enclosure for some rest, haha.

Congrats on your new tegu. Will take a week or two for adjustment in the new place and new routine. For its size, looks like a female.
