Nope - he/she is trying to figure out where she landed. They take awhile to settle, and it's diff for every Tegu. They will usually eat less, or not at all. As they start to feel secure, they temporarily become more territorial. These are smart animals with unique instincts for survival. It's actually pretty cool to watch how they respond and adapt.
