My tegu has been up for about a week now and i cant get him to eat. Is that normal or should I consult a vet??

That's normal after a winter rest. Sometime in the next week, he'll begin to show interest in food. First just a little and pick up from there.

Yes that is normal. Don't worry unless he rejects food for more than two weeks after waking up. If he still doesn't, consult your vet. ^-^

Thank you so much for the advise. Puts my mind at ease. I got him to eat some egg the other day so seems to ve progressing as you described.
