My boyfriends little sister was talking about getting one. Shes got 2 burmese (which I think are a bad idea for a 15 year old), a rainbow boa and a carpet python. I hadn't heard of them before but when I saw pictures I thought they were just gorgeous. Is the care similar to the care of other boas? I'm not a big snake person..

Care is fairly close to that of Colombian boa constrictors. Gus's website should have the info you need. I believe temps should be a little bit lower for them though.
