Today I let the larger of my two niles stomp around the tegus since he’s always showing such an interest in getting out while he sees them out roaming around
I let my girl roam and she interacts with my two cats. They're both interested in her and afraid of her. They'll lay around and watch her, but if she walks right up to them then they get up and run away. She usually takes the opportunity to lay in their warm spot when this happens
She also loves to "interact" with the tub I keep my roach colony in
That’s awesome my dogs are the same way but I don’t trust them enough to really let them hang around. My tegus don’t mind anything I’ve seen so far but my niles will fight on sight, the male Nile can be left alone with the tegus and not a problem so far other than him trying so hard to cuddle with them he agitated them and it ends up startling him. Post some pics with the cats great to see
I'm glad your Nile can be trusted with your tegus, I know some of them can be be testy. Here's a picture of my girl with my Male cat, he fled shortly after lol. Hard to get pics of them all together when the cats get afraid of the big bad gator. She's tried climbing on top of them before and its okay for a few seconds, but then they bolt
