I have brought home a 2 month old male Blue tegu, I've spent 2 years prepping, and researching for him. Its been been 3 days, for 2 of those days he slept all day. I know your not supposed to touch or take them out of your hide, but out of fear of him being sick or worse, I did carefully remove him from a old shirt I put him in. He seemed fine. Seems quite odd to me that a 2 month old baby tegu would be in brumation. His cold side temperatures are between 76-82. His basking spot is about 110. Humidity is about 70% slightly give or take. Currently in a custom cage slightly larger than a 40 gallon breeder. He is 13 inches, with tail. Any help or support would be appreciated. His vet trip checkup is on Monday.
