I was wondering if someone could weigh in on this because I called a few vets and they gave me different responses, but I see some rust color patches growing around the wounds of my purple Tegu. She burnt herself because the basking lights were too close to her log I guess. Attached are photos

They can last a long time. I advise an antibacterial ointment and wxposure to fresh drier air.

Those are some bad burns, just watch for fluid coming out and do as Walter suggested
