Ok so obviously its a glass/legless lizard but from what im reading there are a few dif types and id like to know which one it is before i decide if i want to get him..(i know he looks dead but they just moved him to this bigger space and he wasnt happy lol)
Looks like an Eastern glass lizard to me. I used to see ones like that all the time in FL. First time I saw a wild one it practically broke in half (dropped its 'tail) when I caught it. Scared the begeegeez outta me.
S/He's very pretty! To give you an idea of my horror, look at the underside of yours and see where the vent is. A remarkable portion of the animal is 'tail' that they are capable of breaking off.
