Does he look skinny?

I recently aquired a male red tail from someone who couldn’t keep it any longer. I’m not new to snake, I have an amazon tree boa, ball python, blood python and a snow cornsnake. I’m asking this because I have not been around red tail for a while. The last one I was around was my moms and it was a big female, so I guess I’m going off of my memory and I can’t figure out if hes skinny or it’s just me. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I was told he’s between a 1yr-1 1/2 yrs old and I know that females get bigger.

yeah looks a little skinny just start pumping him full of food and he'll be fine

The females are a bit bigger. I have a big male that topped out at 7ft and 15lbs. He needed to go on snake watchers, lol.

Feed him an appropriately sized meal once every 10 days and he'll be fine, I attached a link to give you an idea of good, healthy size. You don't want a fat snake.

Thanks for the visual laurarfl. Ive only had him for two weeks, I feed him twice, the first rat was a little small, but last night he ate a large one no problem. He is very docile, he is becoming my favorite one more and more.

Not unhealthy skinny but he could definitely use some more meat.
