Hey y’all,
Just got a young tegu about 2 weeks ago. Recently noticed small brown/reddish spots on the underside of his chin and a strip above his lip scales. Not sure if this is his natural coloration or early signs of scale rot. Any advice on the subject? He is scheduled to meet with a local herp vet on Friday this week to check out the matter. Young guy seems to be eating well and acting normally. Noticed the spots under his chin after his first shed while I had him.
