We confirmed a lock on our tegus 29/05/2022. Her appetite grew significantly, She grew alot, but now we're 3 months along, we expected eggs already. Its her first time breeding. Due to our many other projects, I've just bought an ultrasound machine so ill know definitively next week, but wanted to get opinions prior to that.

She'd fed daily, eats everything offered. usually varies from 3 - 4 chicks. to chicks and mice. to small rats, high quality dog food. locusts, adult dubias, rejects greens.

What's the timeline from pairing to laying? shes been moved to a straw bedding, for easier cleanouts. we haven't witnessed any gathering behaviors, but her box has gotten more stuff in it.

She's grown significantly, although that could be due to increased food intake. any opinions, or thoughts on it are appreciated.

Go to Rose City Reptiles on utube! I thought it was 60 days... you are definitely over feeding! Try throwing whole prey or ground turkey in a grinder with salmon, greenbeans, squash, mango, papaya, greens and whatever else that is good veg. For her & mix all together. That way she can't pick & choose. Make " meatballs out of the mixture and freeze extras! Cuts down on food prep. Rose City Reptiles has ALOT of great info on this as well
