Hello, I am a huge reptile hobbyist and soon to be breeder. I have 1 red tegu, 3 bearded dragons, 1 leopard gecko, 1 golden gecko, 3 ball pythons, 1 corn snake, 1 red tail boa, 3 cockatiels, lots of guppies, and 16 pet chickens. I also have a business called Silver Dragons were I sell reptile supplies and setups. I have had my red tegu for a year, his name is Charlie and I love him to death. Ps these pictures were all taken a couple of months ago but that is roughly what my setup looks now.

Looks like some fun going on! Your Charlie looks like a female - am I wrong about that?
I honestly have no idea, I didn't care whether he was a male or female, however the person who I got him from said it was a male so I just stuck with that.

Well - I think he's a she, and that could account for the smaller size. Also, in general reds are smaller than B/W's. Just so you know, I thought my Skully was a she for about 6 months....lol. I think he's finally forgiven me for it. He's so big now that it's hard to have him cruise on my lap. I would have liked a smaller size!

That is great news, I always thought that she was a runt, wasn't healthy or I was making a mistake with her husbandry.
