I am a new owner of a 2020 hatchling b&w tegu unknown sex but I refer to him as he, I purchased him from his previous owner 3 days ago. My issue is he is refusing all food, I know he has had a big change and is probably spooked. He spends all of his time burrowed and he is also shedding. My question is how long should I leave him be to destress before I get worried about him refusing food? I offer food in his enclosure once a day and leave it for an hour but he never eats anything. He will be off food for 5 days now.
