Ideal hide size for an outdoor enclosure?

What is the ideal hide measurements for a full grown tegu in a 8x4x4 enclosure? I’m making it this weekend and I want to make sure it will be comfortable with the size of the hide.

My wooden hide measurement is just short of 20" Wx30"Lx10"tall. There is an opening in 2 places that measure about 10"wide and 4-5" tall. This fits my adult male - he's 4 ft, and it also fit my female that was 1.5 yrs old. Hope that helps!

My boy's hide is 22x12×10 inches, and he fits comfortably but snugly (he's about 4.5 ft long now)

Both of mine are in a 3ft x 1ft x ft custom hide with a 12in x 6in opening! They both aren't even yearlings yet but I think they should be good.
