Is this normal?

I just got my baby Zeus Saturday he/she’s around 4 months. We’re going on day 3 of him being burrowed, is this normal? Should I leave him alone?

Yes he'll just be settling in to his surroundings and familiarising himself with all the new scents and sounds before plucking up the courage to explore

He’s still buried. Feeling sad...I want to bond with my baby not worry about him.

There's nothing to say you can't lift him out ..... Everybodies view is different I know i used to with Alpha..... Its personnel preference and also down to your tegu..... If any signs of aggression show though you know you're moving too fast.
