Male Green Ameiva Isn’t Very Green?

This is my first time joining this forum, so I hope this is the right place to post. I am not sure how old he is but he is around a foot long, but still, physically, doesn’t look very mature. I would say between 6-8 months old. He has the enlarged femoral pores of a male, as well as the light blue markings on the hind legs. But he just isn’t green... at all. Will it show up as he gets older? :(

It's hard to say. Can you post a photo of him? If he's unhappy he won't "color up" as they say. He's also probably not quite mature as you said.
Update us with a pic!

I sure will! He’s currently still snoozing, but once he wakes up and starts roaming around, I’ll snag a pic and post is asap!

No idea - looks healthy and alert. We all worry more than we should when were new at this. Make sure he has plenty of water.

Unfortunately he passed peacefully last night before a scheduled vet appointment I had for him. Thank you for the tips in case I get another one sometime in the future. <3
