Sorry I post so much.
Anyway, I was wondering if people clip their Gus nails, and if so, when do you start? Mine seems a little small and I'm worried I'll nick him unless I wait til he's bigger

No prob. I post a lot, too. A qualified vet is best. Also, you can clip the very tips of them just to dull the sharpness. Basically, the thinnest part is safe to cut as it is beyond the vein.

It's amazing how scratched I can get, and all they're doing is climbing or holding on. Good thing they're tame.

I use the pedipaws on mine! I just file the sharp tip and it's good! I don't like clippers because I'm scared I'll cut too far and they are still sharp after you cut them.

Thanks for the tip! I will go and look for some :) luckily my tegus nails aren't bad yet, but I figure if I get on it now it won't get to be a big problem lol
