Hi there! I have never owned tegus before, but I have kept and bred leopard geckos and have kept western fence lizards. I wanted to get an argentine black and white tegu, but I'm moving to South Carolina where they've banned then and blue tegus as pets. Red tegus are still legal, though. What are their main differences in tempraments and care? Would you recommend I get one of them, or maybe a Savannah or Ackies monitor? Thank you!
