Plant grow bulb

Hey, I have live plants in my tegu cage and I was wondering if it’s safe to use plant grow bulb in it, it’s for the plants. I have uvb and uva lighting in there, I just don’t know if the light spectrum would hurt my tegu.

plants should grow fine just with the lights that are required for your tegu.

I can't think of anything extra that it could provide so I would be tempted not to bother but that's just an opinion and has no real science so to speak behind it

I had live plants in my tank for 2 years and they did just fine with the uva and uvb bulbs so I wouldn't recommend a plant bulb it's a wast of money and it's just the same thing as reptile bulbs
