So I got my baby red tegu about 1 week ago from Underground Reptiles. He seemed healthy and fine but he didn't eat anything. I was told to wait a few days by many people seeing that it is winter and they are brumating. Fast forward to now and he still hasnt eaten anything. For the whole week he has burrowed in his substrate and never comes out unless I take him out for a bath. I don't know if I'm am worrying too much but no matter what kind of food I offer, even salmon he won't eat.

If he looks healthy- clear eyes, not skinny, I wouldn't worry about it.

Related- always good/necessary to have a qualified vet that soecializes in herps just in case.
