snake fat but not growing?

hey guys i have a friend who seems to be concerned about her snake she says instead of it growing it just seem yto be getting fat in one area

Could be wrong, but; if that's a royal (ball) python that's just how they look, thicker lower section and thinner up top.

That looks perfectly normal for a ball python. If they had a corn snake shaped like that then they would have problems

the ball python your friend has looks great tell him not to worry about it sometimes reptiles have growth spurts and im sure sooner or later the length will come into play and ball pythons gain alot more mass then length at times and its normal cause they don't get super big like burms and retics so he will be perfectly fine as long as hes or she is still shedding and having bile movements everything is a go.

No he's normal, mine was supper fat then he grew a foot in like 6 months, he also never got very long only 3 feet in his life time
