Tegu Lighting

Hey guys,

I am just setting up my Tegu enclosure before I go ahead and buy him/her and was just wondering,

If it would be recommended for me to get both a,

ZM Powersun 100W-160W
ZM Reptisun 10.0 24"

The terrarium is 4x2x2 which is obviously temporary while I build my 8x4x4.

Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Ig it's just a baby than the powersun by itself should be plenty

At what age should I add the extra light(s) in?

I'd say once he gets 2-2.5' total add a flood light for a wider area of heat. Size varies with age.
