150w IR light.

Could this possibly be too hot for him? I noticed nobody is using an IR light but everyone seems to be using a 160w powersun which I would assume puts off more heat. I got the bulb in a mini deep dome sitting up above a wire screen about 10 inches over a nice piece of flatstone. He seems to lay around the edges of the light but never in the direct beam. I don't have a heat gun so I don't know the basking spot temp. When I touch the rock its not really that hot though.

Also if I do get a 160w powersun, how high above the ground should it be?

Ok well I brought a temp gun home from work and his basking spot is 115 so I think were good.
