k so im on waiting list for my giant, and i have a couple 6 foot animal plastics cages. my question is are the tegus basking animals? i know they need uvb but do they need a basking light. these cages have heat cable running through the bottom thats controlled by a helix.
also is it ok to go directly to a cage that size or should he go into a 4 foot boaphile first...any help would be greatly appreciated
