I have a yearling tegu and im wondering how much a normal portion is, for me it seems he doesnt eat a healthy amount for his size

Can someone post a picture of their Yearling tegus normal amount of turkey they eat?

What are you feeding as a staple? If it's turkey, then what are you mixing with it? Sometimes they get tired of eating the same things so they don't eat as much and after a while they may stop eating it all together. Adding more variety keeps them interested in their food. Also processed meats like ground turkey are easy to digest and they can pack in a lot in one setting. Depending on the size of your tegu, (age has nothing to do with it) they can easily eat 1lb plus of a turkey meat mix. Which can get expensive and is where more variety will come in handy for both of you.
