southern alligator lizard, Elgaria multicarinata, i have a few myself. pretty common in the west/southwest US. they can be mean littile suckers, biting and pooping when you grab em.
im hoping mine are a 1.1 pair! but theyre a joy, have a slightly forked tongue, and will eat you out of house and home. theyre amazing though. if they ever lay some eggs, ill be sure to post about it. they would be mating around now. ive got a lovely red with a green male.
