Can you breed from a male b/w and female red?????

I have a male B/W, i love the reds and was considering a female red.
If i find a red female, and she was suitable for breeding, and all conditions were right etc etc...............

Is it possible to breed a B/W and a red?
If so, what is the colouration of the young?

If not, why?
