feeding advice

i feed my tegu in my bathtub so he doesnt get cage aggresive and he will eat a little bit but then he just tries to get out. if i put him back in his cage then offer him some food he will eat alot more.

any advice?

Personally, I use a bin that I bought at Wal-Mart for like $6... I was having the same problem. What I did was fed him in the enclosure for a week or so with a food dish. Then, I started putting the food dish inside the bin and fed him in there. Then in another week or so, I took the food dish away, so now he just eats right out of the bin. Unless he's eating turkey or someting sloppy, then I still use the food dish inside the bin. I don't know if it is the recomended method, but that's what I did.
