Future Tegu

I'm hoping to have a Tegu (most likely a B/W, but still up in the air about it) here in the near future. :-D Hopefully my dad will let me build that large of an enclosure in my room. I think it will be one of those "pull the trigger, and ask questions (or forgiveness lol) later" type situations. :lol:

One question though...Do both the males and females have the large neck/jowls? Or is it just the males, or vise-versa? I ask because my gf is a lil scared of the large jowls lol.

I was just a lil excited and figured I'd post...Sorry if this is the wrong section.

Good luck getting the Tegu you want. With the proper handling they can become VERY tame. Here are some videos of one of our male black/white Tegu's. He is the biggest one out off six Tegus. He also likes to cuddle the most lol. So your girlfriend can watch the videos, too, and not be so scared any more .

Well, it's official, I went and did it lol. I will be the owner of one of the B/W hatchlings born in June/July. Getting it from Bobby.
