Canadian here, eh.
I don't own any reptiles but I have been doing research for months on tegus. After a lot of consideration, I've settled on my goal of acquiring an Argentinian B/W.
It's a challenge to find these animals north of the US border, and no one breeds them locally from what I can find.
I'm slowly gathering information on how to import tegus cross-border. It's not a simple or cheap ordeal, so I'm having to take my time.
In the meantime, I continue to read about people who own them, their experiences and glean what I can from the best practices on how to take care of the animals.
