Heya, I'm Apoc from the Netherlands and I just love tegu's. We've got an Argentine black and white Tegu and a red Tegu.
I'm in the reptile world for a while, but always with a lot of snakes and now the 2 tegu's joined us. We got them a couple weeks ago. They are both 8 years old and a bit overweight . The last owner had them since they were little but he had to move to another country. The black and white teju has a very small tail, because she was bit by a rat and for some reason the tail couldn't be saved. She's very friendly and loves to sleep next to you. She seems to fit perfectly in with our animals. We've got alot of rescue's, bunny with one eye, blind horse, etc. so we really don't mind the tail. The red one is very nervous and we aren't friends yet, but maybe with a lot of patience we will get along. She's doing a lot better already.
I hope to meet a lot of other tegu lovers ^^
