Thats the one with 4 dots on its neck rite?... I was holding them today. You got the little one...nice. They are so friendly and kind. I think laura struck gold with these guys. Very calm tegu's. I was gonna buy one today, then i saw the iguana. lol. Keep us posted. O by the way. They told me they hand feed them pinkies. Any feeding response when putting your hand in the cage?... Like rapid flicking, pupils getting smaller, stretching toward your hands?...

Any pictures of the setup?..

Definitely!! I noticed Steve was rather friendly and tame from the start. Just a bit timid like most are when warmed up...But Laura must of spent quite a bit of time with them :)

Awww, thanks, guys! :)

They were pretty tame all along. I have them in my reptile room which is right off of my living room. Everyone loves them, so they get played with a lot. They see dogs walking by, the cat, sometimes the ferrets. They are just part of the household. I talk to them because I talk to all of my critters, haha. They hear the tv, etc. Someone is always home in my house, I think.

Be sure to watch the shed. Check on the tail and toes and mist, etc.

Remember luke warm water. It may not feel warm to your hand, but to your little one, it the best. I like keeping my hand under them in the sink, that way i can use my other hand to drizzle water down their back. And also because they trip out the first couple of baths, so use your hand as support/base.

P.S.. you might get pooped on lol..
