Again, leave thme to the more experienced keepers. These can grow to 2 meters long and can cost $3000-$5000. I know of a breeder, but I dont feel you have what it takes to keep one of the knowledge. Please start out with some thing easier.
Those laces were hatched out by Dave K. He lives in Australia so you wont be able to get one from him. But if you do have any questions, ask him. He's very knowledgeable and has been keeping them almost for a decade now.
It is very hard to find a lace monitor as a baby and they are also difficult to keep so unless if you have a lot of experience and money to spend on a setup, I wouldn't recommend getting one.
I don't think you are very well liked Fred, and to be honest you don't seem to have any knowledge of monitors in general. Lace Monitors do not ever sell for 450 and they roam a lot of territory in the wild so although there are larger monitors Lace Monitors need a lot of space to live in, just as in the wild. If you are obsessed with getting a monitor then get an ackie or possibly a sand monitor. A sand monitor would still require at least a 8 by 4 by 4 foot cage in my opinion. A single ackie could go in a 4 by 2 by 2 foot cage and they are both friendly and a very good beginner species.
ok bro if you been saving money for a lace monitor ? thats great . you do know they are from Australia and are expensive monitors i seen Ben seigal was some big bucks. im sure this time saving up for one you have done research on the species you want to keep . internet is great for information. we have the technology use it my friend . no question is stupid but ask the question ? and dont bash members here not cool
