How small is your male blue? Male blues easily can hit 4-4.5 feet...

Thank you riplee, tegurawsome He's 4' and maybe a few inches, I don't see many blue males over 4' usualy they are much smaller averaging around 3.5'

I take my tegus out and let them go through the whole courting ritual and such. Gives them a bit more room, too.

Thanks tommyboy, laura this was just the introduction lol they havnt fully locked up yet but he slept with her last night so hopefully sometime this week they actually lock up once they start getting outside

A 4 foot male, that is a big boy. Mine is just a hair over the 4 foot mark and he is big. Still Kiska does not seem impressed, lol.

I can't wait, they have been like 2 scaley rabbits lol, she put on some weight but I don't know if she's gravid yet

O u better beleve she is if she is mating like that strong instinct . Nest making should be the nexed thing on her mined that and lots of food and my girls get quite picky during that time also so i give verietie often . maybe 2 to 4 times a day . that and youl know when she is dun with him becus she will start biting hin on base of the tail like get away ... at that point id get him out of their and give her lots of nesting stuff to keep her bizzy and not looking for him ... when she is huge and stops eating just wate a few days and she will emerge fat no moor . Im no expert just frum my experences ...

Still waiting...no signs of nesting yet...although she refuses his attempts with a tail whip lol, as long as he makes no advancement she is ok with him for now

She's getting ready to shed soon, but her appetite is slowly increasing
