so when your tegu is a 'teen'/ adult do many of you let them wonder around your home with one room in particular that is kept at the apropriate temps?

The room is kept at room temp, no special heating. I keep his cage at the optimum temps and humidity. That way they can come and go from the cage to the room. Older tegus have enough weight on them to not feel a cool room as fast as a young or baby tegu.

agreed..or you can let them free roam at room temps, just dont keep them out long and then put them back in thier encloser after a while.
