Hey guys, been prowling the forums for awhile, asking the occasional question, and recently I just bought an Argentine B&W, we think she's around 8 months old, and she is extremely tame for only having her for 4 weeks. I decided that now would be a good time to introduce her, since she's all settled in now. Introducing, my B&W tegu, Gillie! She has a mark on her nose, and it looks almost like a chip in her scales... it doesn't cause her pain, I can touch it without any reaction from her, and I just want to make sure it's not something more serious.. Thanks!

That mark is a scale missing from rubbing its nose on mesh or jumping at the cage lid. Mine had that too. A new scale will grow from underneath and the black spot will pop off.
