so I just bout a six month old red tegu from a guy on Wednesday. He told me he was calm and would let you rich him. He also said he would let you take him out of his cage to let him explore the house. But he's the total opposite! When I got him to my house, he would let me take him out the container her was in to put him in the enclosure in my house. I had to tilt it to let him walk out on his own. Now he hasn't eaten any food I have given him. He won't let me pet him or even take him out the cage to let him walk around my house. When I try to touch him, he would jump and run. He tried to bite me twice. I love the tegu so far because this is what I've been wanting. So I need some good advice please!!! I don't want to have to get rid of him and buy a hatchling and work with it from day one. Thanks in advance!!!
