Retaining shed?

I'll add a picture soon to help clear any confusion but my yearling has tiny little pinkish red in the lines between a few of her head scales and I'm curious what this could be. My biggest worry is that she has retained some head shed without me noticing and the skin under is necrotic but I can't really tell. I just sprayed her down with some warm water and rubbed her head a little and nothing came loose so I'm not even sure that she has any shed there. The tip of her snout is also whitish, almost dusty looking.
