well im little girl is going through her second shed now.. i knew it would be coming soon and this morning it started...do tegu's usually start shedding from the tail first? both her sheds have started that way..it start right from the top of the tail by the body and seems to go towards the head and the tip of the tail..
She is getting better.. she was a feisty one and i had a couple of threads about her...she now only eats in her feeding bin. starts eating right when i put her in there.
She still gets a little jumpy and sprints into her hide when i come in the room for the first time that day..i rest my hand in the tank an try to pet her...she moves or runs to her hide, but then comes right back out and lays by my hand. eventually im able to pet her...when i let her free roam in the bathroom she end up coming and laying on my legs..
Its taking time, but she is coming around!
