Tegus and the "falling sensation"

I'm sure everyone has that moment between consciousness and sleep where you get the feeling your falling and you jolt yourself awake. So I was wondering if tegus do the same.

I'm pretty sure there was a study that showed reptiles dream similar to the way way humans do, but I may be wrong. Hard to say whether they are ever in that half concious stage, but I would assume yes.
