I'm sorry to hear that. I think once the the skin is damaged it will leave a scar. Are you by any chance from Germany ( because you sad Tejus not Tegus ) ?

Great medecine for wounds ( not for orally ). I know it says for cats and dogs but I used it on my Tegus a few times and it works great ( I got it from my vet ). The vets also call it liquid gold because it works so well and it doesn't have a experation date.

the wound has heald but is the pigment going to restore?
there is a scabe on the wound
but am i going to see that white patch fore ever or is the pigment coming back?
I'm origanaly from Germany but have been living here in Texas for almost 16 years now.
I believe she will have that patch ( scar ) for ever. One of my Tegus got a shot when he was a baby and it damaged the scales and he still has the patch, too. It's been 2 1/2 years now that he has had it.
