Yeah, they're a little more flighty but people saying they can't be tamed is hogwash. Mine lets me pick her up and she loves being zipped in my jackets. Her favorite spot is my sholder.

Tazia is short for Anastasia. I like the shorter verson better though, so I went with Tazia. My friends call her Tasha though. Haha
The bones are removed when I give her gizzards. She likes them floppy so she can fling them around :D

Tazia does that too! After she eats she goes, basks all sprawled out like a dog on a porch, drinks some water then burrows. Like clock work. For Halloween I'm thinking about being a Tegu just so I can call into work and tell them I can't come in; it was just dinner, now it's nap time.
Thank you both! She's already doing much better. She's no longer terrified of me either, she just doesnt like being picked up too high off the ground. She's fattening up as well, her back legs look normal now instead of loose skin and her hip bones are much less skeletal. I'll post more pics of...
