    The closest reptile vet is a 2 hour drive. Alright I'll change it up and see how it goes. Thanks for the info/advice.

    I was thinking my substrate might be too damp? He did get loose and jump the railing to my stairs which is about an 8ft drop. And i had to chase him to keep him from getting stuck in my walls a few times.

    24x16x14. Temps are usually between 98 and 110 basking. The cool end between 85 and 90. My house isnt insulated very well so sometimes it gets a little colder than it should be. I live in Texas.
