This is my soaking tub for new hatchling Columbian. I filled it with rocks I got diving, to keep him from drowning and giving him a way out. This is of course temporary until I build his permanent enclosure. I also attached a picture of him basking.
Just Received my new dude this morning. He is a little skittish as of now, but was willing enough to lap up some egg from hand. Showed no interest in the roaches or mealworms yet. Gonna try some fish here in a little bit.

Will do! The sand/soil mixture, I have been researching since you told me about it. I am just looking for a regular top soil that's basically plain dirt? Also one more feeding question. I see a lot of debate on veggies/fruits when they get older. Is there any truth to this?
