I am a college student who absolutely loves animals, fuzzy, scaly, hairy and feathered! I only have 2 pets at the moment (dog and beardie) I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, goats and hamsters while living in town (not out in the country). So, I am super interested/excited to learn more about lizards and their care! I'm here to find out absolutely everything about how to take care of and raise Tegu's before I get a Tegu in the summer of 2014. I am the proud owner/parent of a 2 year old male bearded dragon named Hotchner (Hotch). He is the only experience I have with any reptiles/lizards but I've had so much fun with him that I want more lizards! After much research I very much want to add a Tegu to my family, because of their intelligence and personalities, a Tegu seems like a pet that I can really work with and see the benefit of my efforts.
