Mine does it too, but will only go to the bathroom in the bath tub which is a plus to me because I dont have to clean it out of his cage. But he also tells me when he has to go by trying to get out of his cage. Pretty cool
If you have only had him for a couple days, I wouldnt be taking him in and out of his cage. He needs time to adjust to him new enviorment and you might be stressing him out at this point. I left mine alone for about a week and he came around after that. The light should always be on in his cage...
I soak my black and white everyday for about 1-2 hours and has shed great every shed. It might be excessive but he looks great and they also absorbe the water in there body from jjust sitting in it.. Natural Sun light is a must in my book but also need the light as well..
I agree, Another method that I learned was to let him out and wonder around and pass by him a few times each time he is out so he knows your not going to hurt him. Avoid picking him up as much while he is out and just walk by him so he knows your the boss and you are no harm. It worked well with...
I would soak him in warm water for about 45 minutes then check him again. Sounds like he has mites which is common in using certain types of substrates. You might also buy some mites spray they sell at reptile stores to spray on him.[hr]
