    Shed - tip of tail

I will try a warm bath later tonight, and i may need some sort of misting system. My schedule makes me not present for a good chunk of his active day. So i spray when i can, any suggestions for a mister or fogger or something that can be set on a timer?

    Shed - tip of tail

I have had Masenko (male Argentine Red) for about five days now, he is about 3yrs old and I have no idea when his last shed was. I do know the previous owner was only feeding raw eggs and unsupplemented ground beef. I am trying to vary the diet, so far he likes 1 hard boiled egg on the days he...

ABSOLUTELY, I know I am very new with Tegus but they are so smart, active in their human interactions, and they're just flat out beautiful creatures so yeah I will be more than happy to donate and start sporting around that sticker lol

So I've had my tegu here for about three days now and all of a sudden there are a BUNCH of flies in the tank, do I just change the substrate? Where are they coming from?

    Picky eating habits

It may have just been picky eating in general, early this morning i prepared hard boiled eggs and they were taken right out of the bowl no hesitation. Still trying to work on the diet though, previous owner was feeding ONLY raw eggs and ground beef, I am trying to rectify this

    Picky eating habits

I cant seem to get mine to eat from the food bowl. If I toss food out on substrate he/she (still trying to sex) is fine but WILL NOT take from bowl. Still trying to get a wide variety in this week to look for different feeding responses.

Little bit about myself, no idea why but i absolutely LOVE lizards. As a child we could never have pets due to my brother's allergic reaction to pet dander. The first pet that I owned was a beautiful beardie named Jack, he unfortunately passed away two months ago. Since then i have been going...
